It's almost that time of year, time to start Christmas shopping {for the first time I ever, I have already started...usually I don't start until Black Friday}. This year I am so excited to shop for Cecilia. Hopefully this year she will understand the concept of Santa Claus more and she'll be really excited about opening presents.
This week in 2 on Tuesday, Andrea asks
What were your two favorite childhood toys?
Cabbage Patch Dolls
I loved playing with my cabbage patch kids. I had several of them, I believe my mom still has a few of mine upstairs in their attic. This year I plan on buying Cecilia her first Cabbage Patch Doll. She love playing with her baby dolls so hopefully she will add this one to the collection.
Cricket Doll
Does anyone besides me remember Cricket? You put a cassette tape in her back and she sung songs and counted with you. Looking back this doll was kinda creepy, but at four or five years old I loved her. She went everywhere with me. I believe Cricket came out around the same time as the Chucky movies and whenever my cousin, Connie babysat me she made my parents take Cricket with them.
Honorable mentions are: Popples, My Little Pony, Care Bears, Lincoln Logs, I could go on and on..

2 on Tuesday: 09/27/11
On last week's 2 on Tuesday you obviously saw that I spend way too much time in front of the TV. I am so glad it's fall again and my favorite TV shows have returned. I also have a few new shows that may also make it to the season pass on my DVR (Two Broke Girls, The New Girl, Revenge & PanAm).
What I hate though is when you get attached to show and its characters and then all of a sudden it ends. That brings me to this week's 2 on Tuesday question from My Chihuahua Bites:
What two television shows that have gone off the air do you miss?
Like the rest of America, I loved tuning into Friends on Must See TV on Thursday nights. My mom and I watched together every week, rooting for Ross and Rachel to get finally get together, we couldn't believe that Monica and Chandler became a couple and eventually got married and every week we laughed at Phoebe and Joey's great one liners. Even now when I catch a Friends rerun on TV I get hooked (even though I have most of the seasons on DVD and I've probably seen every episode at least 50 times).
I wish they would do a Friends reunion or movie so we could see where our favorite characters ended up, but I doubt that will ever happen since most of the cast has moved onto other things.
Sex and The City, oh how I miss you! I didn't jump on the Sex and The City bandwagon until college (fall of 2001), but I fell in love with the characters, the clothes and New York City. I was Team Aidan, but I think in the end Carrie and Big are meant for one another. I loved the movies (even the second one) and I hope there will be a third. Every year I ask the hubs for the seasons on DVD, but in the six years we've been together I haven't gotten one season yet (maybe this year?)
Close runner ups are The OC, Party of Five and The Hills.

2 on Tuesday: 09/20/11
Happy Tuesday! Who looks forward to Tuesdays? Me! Why well for two reasons actually, I get to go to my Bootcamp class AND it's one of my new favorite weekly blog hops, 2 on Tuesday!
This week's questions are (there's two!)
Many fall shows are starting up again this week. What two shows are you most looking forward to?
AND/OR
What two cleaning products make your life easier?
So first question first!
Many fall shows are starting up again this week. What two shows are you most looking forward to?
Hi, my name is Mindy and I am a gleek (a fan of the show, Glee!), The hubs and I have been fans since that preview they gave of Glee way back in May of 2009 after American Idol. They showed one episode, but hubs and I were hooked. We had to wait until the following September to see more. I can't sing (or dance), but each week I live vicariously through the Glee characters!
Daniel would kill me if he knew I put on the internet for the world to see that he watches Glee! So let's keep it our little secret!
The second show I cannot wait to season premiere is tomorrow night (Wednesday)
In a close third and fourth is The Big Bang Theory and uh...The Bachelor (yes, I watch that reality tv trash!)
And for the second question this week:
What two cleaning products make your life easier?
The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is a life saver, especially with a Toddler! It can seriously clean up anything, hand marks on a wall, spaghetti o's on your baseboard. It is amazing! I love it!
And number 2 goes to..
Method Antibacterial Cleaner. I really would put the whole method line here if I could. I absolutley LOVE Method products, they work great, they are green and are safe to use around your kiddies and pets. My favorite scent is the orange zest. You can buy Method cleaners at your local Target.
So what two tv shows are you looking forward to watching AND what are your two favorite cleaning products? Link up on 2 on Tuesday at My Chihuahua Bites.

2 on Tuesday: 09/13/11
I am once again participating in My Chihuahua Bites weekly link up, 2 on Tuesday! This Tuesday she asks:
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what two items would you wish to have with you? (I know you’ll have more than two. I would have one million. It’s ok if you share more than two.)
Ahh that is so, so hard! So many of my first thoughts require electricity:
- My hair dryer
- My cell phone
- My Kindle
- My iPad (that I don’t have yet, but hopefully will be getting for Christmas)
So I had to really think about this one….
Sooo my answers are:
Shampoo & Conditioner
I have that type of hair that I cannot go more then one day without washing, if I do it’s an oily and nasty mess.
Toilet Paper
I hate camping, I have been a few times in my life, but never in my adult life and I could not imagine truly roughing it with out running water and toilet paper. I am not wiping my butt with anything but toilet paper. Leaves? No thank you! Pass the Charmin please.
I promise a real blog post soon, but I have had the worst headache for going on three days now and whenever I start a post, I don’t finish it.
If you would like to link up to 2 for Tuesdays, visit My Chihuahua Bites!
Also, if you are looking for a great giveaway check out The Mommyhood Chronicles. She is giving away a copy of a Howard B. Wigglebottom children’s book. Check out her blog while you are there, she’s one of my new favorite bloggers (and twitter friends, even though she’s a Pats fan).

2 on Tuesday: 09/06/11
Today I am linking up with My Chihuahua Bites for the first time for Two on Tuesday!
She is asking:
What are your two favorite things about fall?
I can only pick TWO things? That is going to be hard...fall is my second favorite season (almost tied with summer for first, but I can't go to the beach and lay out on most fall days, so summer wins!)
I love getting out my fall clothes, sweaters, boots, jeans... I love bonfires and hayrides, I love pumpkin picking, but my two favorite things about fall have to be:
Baltimore Ravens FOOTBALL!!!!!
I'm a huge Ravens fan and I have been since the Ravens moved to Baltimore way back when I was in middle school. There's nothing I love more in the fall then going over to my parents house on a Sunday, sitting back with my entire family (my parents, aunts, uncles and cousins) and watching the Ravens beat up on another team. We cheer, we boo and sometimes we curse, but year after year we seem to make the play offs.
This weekend though I will not be watching the game in my parents living room, instead I will be right there at M&T Bank Stadium proudly wearing my purple and balck and watching the Ravens whip up on some Steelers! {My good friend who is a Steelers fan is going with me, it should be an interesting ride home after we kill her team!}
The second thing I love about fall is....
Pumpkin everything!
I love everything pumpkin related, whether it be food with pumpkin in it, drinks with pumpkin spices, or burning a pumpkin scented candle {which I did this weekend while I cleaned, Pumpkin Vanilla from Yankee Candle is my favorite!}.
